Kismis, also known as raisins, are the result of drying grapes and are extensively employed for enhancing the presentation of Indian desserts and sweets. In the case of kismis kalakand, however, these dried grapes take center stage in the cooking process, infusing the kalakand (milk sweet) with a delightful fruity essence.
